Hey everyone

Hello! How are you all? I am ok... somewhat down tonight. My mother told me last week about my "step" grandmother who just found out she has rapidly spreading cancer. This woman has never smoked a day in her life. it's just really scary,smoking cessation, so I started questioning my mother, "You are getting regular check-ups...right?" Mymom never smoked a day in her life either. It just worries me ... scares me. So,quit smoking now, I sat here crying for a good half hour while we im'd eachother.My "step" grandmother adn I were not very close. She's actually not my grandmother by law, my mother's very long time bf - they just never got married. But I do feel really horrible about her situation and the people who love her - we were just never that close. I don't really know my point in writing this, I guess it just feels good to talk to my friends about things on my mind.
